To keep shipping costs down, it ships folded flat rather than as an oversized-freight package, and sets up in minutes: standard 40"x60" foam boards (not included) slide into the side-wall lining compartments to give the case rigid, self-standing structure. Most owners leave the boards in for local use and fold the case flat between trade shows, reinserting the foam board on arrival; when the load itself is rigid and near full case size, no stiffeners are needed.
